I spent a good wee while distracting myself from work looking through your site this morning.
Great stuff. I'd love to have a wander around the site, looking at what's left there.
That German memorial cairn. Is there any trace of it left now? I think there should be some sort of acknowledgement of what was there... |

All that's there now is a pile of stones - I can't understand why someone demolished the cairn.
All the headstones also disappeared when the graves were opened in 1962. Their fate is unknown. The bodies were taken to Cannock Chase.
