I'm Adam Brown. I live in Edinburgh but I grew up in Brora in Sutherland.
I've been involved in the Scottish War Memorials Project and Scottish War Graves Project from the start and along with David McNay we've decided that the members of those forums need a place for subjects off-topic there so have started this forum up too.

Hi,
Glad to see this forum up and running!
I'm really looking forward to seeing and reading all future threads and posts from all avenues which have been previously 'off-topic' nearly everywhere else.
I'm sure that once word spreads and more like minded folk are willing and able to share their 'pet projects', this forum will become an invaluable resource.
In the meantime, I'll do my best to spread the word!

Anne,
At the moment we're keeping this forum quiet - we want to get it in the right shape before we "launch" it into the world.
Have a browse round, please give any suggestions you might have for improvement. It's very much a work in progress for the moment.
